Megan grew up in Minnesota, surrounded by lakes, woods, and the beauty of all four seasons. Her inspiration for natural beauty was enriched by grand adventures throughout the Southwest, where her grandparents lived.
These experiences deepened her connection to beauty and influenced her artistic journey. Always with a pen or watercolors in hand, Megan's path has been marked by a relentless pursuit of capturing moments and places on paper.
Capturing Connections
Her artistic journey was enriched by high school electives, college courses, and teaching art in the Philippines. These opportunities assisted in her decision to make art an integral part of her life, and she has continuously explored capturing connections to moments and places.
Her passion for illustrating homes emerged as she navigated the joys and challenges of early motherhood. Drawing houses allowed her to creatively explore the concept of 'home', a subject she deeply cherishes.
